About MBA
MBA program is introduced in the year 1997, approved by AICTE, and as an institution affiliated with Osmania University, Hyderabad. It is a two-year course with 4 semesters and follows the CBCS pattern, prescribed by the University. The current intake for the Program is 120 Students, per year.
It offers four domain specializations.; Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Systems. We provide hands-on experience and render a practical approach to understand, analyse, and customize the Program by including add–on courses like Certificate Courses, Industrial Visits, Workshops and Seminars.
It has experienced and committed faculty with a research focus, they have to their credit a good number of research papers published in reputed national and international journals. Teaching Methodology includes Tutor Lectures, Case studies, Seminars/ workshops/SDPs, Group discussions, Role Play, Industrial Visits, Icebreaking Sessions.
To keep pace with changing needs the faculty and students have taken up NTPEL courses and completed successfully. The department has very good results almost 100% in university examinations from its inception. It enables the students to organise SAMANAVY a management fest every year. To enhance the best and make students employment-ready. The college offers compulsory certificate courses in the first three semesters.

→ Students are given an opportunity to visit various organisation, for a single day, for experiential learning.
→ Stock exchange seminars are held to give students hands on exposure and make them understand stock market better.
→ Certificate courses particularly on Personality Development, Interview readiness are conducted in the final semester.
→ Students are encouraged to participate in inter college events.
→ Students are made to participate in extension activities which includes Gender Discrimination, Hygiene Education etc.

About Our Club:
The initiative to launch Commerce Club at Villa Marie Degree College for Women is surely history in its making. Clubs are a vital part of the education system because they are the ultimate in experiential learning for young minds, giving them the leadership and power to make their own decisions and watch, how those decisions affect their life and the lives of others.
The Commerce Club formed at Villa Marie Degree College serve to unwrap the anthology of activities of the young and vivacious minds of students. Along with providing professional development opportunities, clubs aim at inculcating students with personal, social, and extra-curricular development, enhancing the overall collegiate experience.
In addition to helping foster practical skills such as time management, leadership and responsibility, extra-curricular activities allow students to “test the waters” and explore new areas of interest.
It is important to appreciate the contribution of the skill sets, a student can obtain from being part of a club.

Career Prospects:
Every Year placement activity in our college happens during January through May. Most of the top corporates established in Hyderabad visit our campus. All the students who are eligible and wish to do jobs get placed. Some of the companies that visited in the past are Deloitte Consulting Services, Thomson Reuters, Price water house Coopers (PWC), Sutherland Global Services, Igebra.ac.in, Alliant Group and many more.
